The climb to Verbier (1595m)

This climb is similar to Alpe d'Huez, with a very regular slope and several hairpins. It is not so hard as the franch climb as the distance is shorter. The climb can be done from Martigny for a warm-up, but that part is not so interesting because of the heavy traffic up to Sembrancher where starts the road to Italy (via the Col du Grand Saint-Bernard).
